South Korea

Hi there. How are you guys? I hope you all are doin very well there. So in today's post, I will be allocating my delightful  experiences during my indelible trip to South Korea! It was a momentous 5 days of staying there. And yeah I'll be sharing with you all throughout my whole adventure travelling  in Korea, a country that is prominent with it's technological advances and properly managed developments. So, pack up your stuff cs we're about to fly to Korea!!!πŸ›«

DAY 1:
We arrived at the Incheon International Airport at 8.30 a.m.It was freezing cold & temperature was around 11 degree CelsiusπŸ˜–..(Fun Fact: In Korea, the driver’s seat is at the left side of the car). After arriving in Seoul, our very initial destination was heading to Hongdae. FYI, Hongdae is legitimately prominent with it's assorted street delicacies & it's funky and groovy night life. We decided to have a trip at the 3D Museum which was really worth of spending time. Not only 3D graphics, the museum also had a mini south/north pole (I cant recall the name). The temperature was -20 degree celsius and basically EVERYTHING IS MADE OF ICE!!!⛄ After finishing the trip to the museum, we went for a walk at the street, it was terribly cold and regarding that, we decided to get a pair of winter gloves for each and everyone of us. Everyone necessitated one. Finally, we went home and toddler into the dreamland. 😴

DAY 2:
Day 2 was the most exhausting day ever.
- We went to assorted kind of places. From an ancient palace to a Korean Tradition Village also to an Outdoor Shopping Centre.
 - From GyeongBokgung Palace to Hanok Bukchon Village and finally to Namdaemun.
-Throughout day 2, the initiative that we took to move one place to another is by walking and that was the vindication why our legs were killing us at the end of the day. 😫
-It was a wonderful experience walking  around Seoul  with only holding a map and asking people around us ( We were taught to speak in Korean (basics))
 - Day 2 was the best day ever! XD

Gyeongbokgung Palace
This palace is a palace which is rich with histories of the ancestors of the Almighty Korean Kings & Warriors. There is a Museum there which exhibits not only the royal tools, also including the weapons used by the bold warriors of Korea to defend their Nation. There was also a minipark which is a spot most of the tourists take pictures and shoot videos as remembrances.

Hanok Bukchon Village
A village of pride for the Korean.
- This village symbolizes peace although Korea is prominent with it’s gargantuan development progress in the city, this village is still a place that is full with cavity and tranquility. Basically, this village is located on top of a mountain.Climbing and walking around 3 hours was legitimately tiring but at the end, this village occupied us with a fantastic and a mesmerizing view. Then we proceeded our journey heading to Namdaemun. We went to various kind shops to purchase some souvenirs.

DAY 3:
- We went to the one of the famous island in the world, Nami Island. We also then stood the occasion of witnessing 2 hours of being in Paris at Petite France also walking around at the Cheongyecheon Stream.
- Third day was actually a mind-relaxing day regarding the places that we visited.
- Nami Island is 50KM away from Seoul. Thus, our tourist guide provided us a bus to go there.
-The journey took around 40 minutes and yes, I did fell asleep. ;). Come on, the exhaustion is real man.
- The 2nd Destination was Petite France. That place brought us to Europe although we were in Korea 😝.
- The buildings, houses created are similarly with what Paris has.
- Walking around the Cheongyecheon stream was also a memorable memory to be cherished.
- History of the stream: It’s about a stream that is used to be a water supply for the citizens that used to live in  a village that was built along the stream. Now the village is destroyed due to construction necessities.

Nami Island πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚

The vindication of why Nami Island is well-known until today is because this place was portrait in the Korean drama entitled “ WINTER SONATA”. Nami Island was the place where both the main characters Joon-Sang & Yoo-Jin had their first date. Nami Island & Winter sonata, this amalgamation has become a phenomenal one throughout the whole world during the early 2000’s. We went there during autumn, thus the island was full with colourful leaves. From Green to Yellow to Orange also to Red.We had to take a ship from the jety to reach the Island because it is an island.🌚

Petite France
The concept of Petite France encapsulates ‘flowers, stars, and the Little Prince.’ The village contains a memorial hall dedicated to Saint-Exupery, the author of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince (1943) and as such it is called the Little Prince theme park. It also has a gallery displaying sculptures and paintings of le coq gaulois (the Gallic rooster), the national symbol of France, The Orgel House where a 200-year-old music box plays a sweet melody; a shop that sells herbal and aromatic products, souvenir shop, and many other locales where I experienced the French culture. The village can accommodate up to 200 visitors with 34 guest rooms that hold four to ten people each. Witnessing the marionette experience and listening to percussion instruments from around the world were the enjoyments to be considered for the rest of my life tho. πŸ’ž

DAY 4:
- Day 4 was the day where my entire family went to Korea's foremost tourist spot, Namsan Park.
- We also managed to spend our time at the famous street which most of the tourist who pays a visit here in Korea will customarily go, Myeongdong Street.
-Rather than serving our eyes with assorted brands, this street also serves our nose and stomach with delectable and appetizing street delicacies.πŸ₯˜πŸ²πŸ€πŸ£πŸ’πŸ πŸ˜‹

Namsan Park
Namsan is a park where tourist could deplete their time enjoying the mesmerizing and captivating view from the top of a mountain.  Although it's not as high as other surrounding mountains, Mt. Namsan is a very popular nonetheless as a resting site. At the top, there are various facilities such as Palgakjeong (octagonal hall), Seoul Tower, Maritime Aquarium, fountains, and Namsan Library. We  took a cable car to the top also walk up the stairway path.. The driving courses here are also popular for couples. πŸ’‘πŸ’˜

Myeongdong Street πŸ’ΈπŸ€‘

Myeong-dong is one of the primary shopping districts in Seoul. The two main streets meet in the center of the block with one beginning from Myeong-dong Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line No. 4) and the other from Lotte Department Store at Euljiro. Many brand name shops and department stores line the streets and alleys. Common products for sale include clothes, shoes, and accessories. Unlike Namdaemun or Dongdaemun, many designer brands are sold in Myeong-dong to be honest.
Myeong-dong also has family restaurants, fast food, plus Korean, Western and Japanese dining options. Basically, Myeongdong is a heaven for those shoppers.

DAY 5:
Our last day huh 😭. Basically, we went to a convivial theme park which is known as  the Lotte World and we also went for a sail throughout the whole Han river. It was a fascinating  reminiscence. Plus oh god, the temperature numbed my whole body. Tbh, even pressing the phone screen was a difficulty regarding the insane temperature.

Lotte World
It is a theme park filled with thrilling rides, an ice rink and different kinds of parades, as well as a folk museum, a lake, accommodations, department stores and more. Fyi, Lotte World is divided into Lotte World Adventure, a world themed indoor area, and Magic Island theme outdoors, next to Seokchonhosu Lake. Lotte World Adventure has districts representing different countries with various kinds of facilities and souvenir shops. I did enjoyed watching parades, numerous films, laser shows, and tasting a variety of international cuisines year-round. (Fun Fact: Lotte World Adventure is the largest indoor amusement park in the world!!!)

 Han River Cruise πŸ›³
Cruising at Han river necessitated us to traverse the heart of Seoul between east and west part. We took a break from the busy urban atmosphere and enjoyed the relaxing time while on the cruise. Like i apprised before, it was freezing cold.❄❅

Yup, I have to divulge that I miss travelling to this country although my very first perception to be honest was "  Ala korea? K-POP all over the places" I was wrong. πŸ˜… The food, places, culture, histories and people proved me wrong. I love being there and if there is sustenance, in Shaa Allah I'll be paying a visit here once more. "To clutch what was vacated behind." πŸ˜‰
