The Second Chapter of My 2024.
HELLO EVERYONE! How is it going for you all? Wishing you all are in a good & healthy condition since we're in a new year already. Welcome 2025!
Yup, after quite awhile, I'm here once again to update what life was like for the past 6 months. If you read my previous post, you all know I had a very downhearted first half of the year. Everything was depressing. The thoughts of "2024 is shit" & "this is by far the worst year ever" were lingering on my mind. The first 6 months of the year was very hard. It was too much.
Nonetheless, I recalled telling myself somewhere by end of June last year saying "Enough, the past 6 months were miserable. I need to get myself together & let's turn the table around! Let's restart & make every moment count!" Praise the lord, alhamdulillah. Everyone, the second half of 2024 is by far the best 6 months I've ever experienced in my entire 25 years of life.
Why?
How or where do I even start? From the beginning of July I started to reconnect myself with the real world while moving onwards. I told myself "If I really wanna reset everything, I gotta make myself busy man. Gotta do all the things I love to." And yes I did. Started off the month with me finally getting myself a very first car. I call it Miss V. Cringe kan? Hahahaha who cares but yeah, it was a big a deal & definitely a huge achievement for me personally. Man's got a huge commitment now lol. Not gonna lie, although it's been only 6 months with Miss V, the car already holds tons of sentimental values. It was worth the money man. Again, alhamdulillah for the blessings. I'm grateful.
Then? A special shout out to MY BOYS! You guys know who you are. Thanks to each & everyone of you, the next chapter of 2024 were memorable & wonderful. I'm forever thankful for having you all as parts of this adventurous & unpredictable journey of life. Every moment spent with you all will be cherished for the rest of my life. From going to my bestfriend's wedding & chilling out at Putrajaya, going for a trip to Fraser's Hill, those non-stop laughing & "menung2" sessions at Damansara & Bangsar to going back to my comfort city, Bangkok then of course, the trip to the best country I've ever visited, Turkiye and many more. I was the happiest because of you all. Thanks a lot guys. Much love for you all.
Next, an exceptional shout out to my special G, my blood, my cousin, Haziq. Bro, if you're reading this, I just want you to know that how lucky I am to have you as my cousin. You were there with me almost every occasion I mentioned earlier. We've been through a lot together man. If you were to ask me what were the biggest highlights of the year for us together, I'd say the first one is sharing the dejection of losing our beloved Opah and undeniably our trip to Turkiye man. Yup, two different events & two different feelings. We were the saddest & we were also the happiest together man. But yeah, we made it through & I really hope this brotherhood of us will continue. Remember, I got your back bro.
Finally? The trips to Bangkok & Turkiye especially. You all know how a hodophile I am. I'm the happiest when I travel abroad. Be it, if the country is a country that I've visited for many times or even to a new country for the very first time, I just love travelling or I should say getting lost overseas. Thank you to my best highschool mate, Hariri for planning the trip to Bangkok. I remember it was a random evening at the swimming pool & you were like "Mal, kita gerak Bangkok jom? Kita dah kenal 11 tahun & buat macam2 together but not travel overseas together yet. Jom?" Just like that, the rest is history. Bro, we made it. I had so much fun.
Not to forget, the Turkiye trip. For you all reader's information, we almost cancelled our Turkiye trip due to clashing dates but alhamdulillah once again, everything was sorted out and yes, we had the time of our lives there. The trip to Turkiye is by far the trip that I've learned & experienced the most. It was a life changing adventure. From cruising through the Marmara Sea with the Asia & Europe continents on our both sides, to watching the sunrise on a Hot Air Ballon at Pamukkale, playing snow on top of Mount Erciyes for 3 hours non-stop and many more man. Damn, Turkiye was amazing and unforgettable. No worries, I'll definitely write a special post dedicated only for my Turkiye trip one fine day. As of now, I'm still in the process of moving on from the trip. It was lovely.
All in all?
2024 was a true definition of "A Roller Coaster Ride". It's true what they say, sometimes you feel like you're drowning but then at some point of life too, you'll be on top of the world. It's on you actually. It's you who choose what happens next in life. It's One Day or Day One, You decide. No matter how hard life keeps on serving you, just you know that you're indeed capable of going through all those sufferings & finally move onwards. I thank my family, my friends & myself for a memorable 2024. From my story, you all played a major role on making 2024 an exceptional year. Terima kasih semua. I love you all.
You all take goodcare of yourselves & I hope it's not too late but, Happy New Year Everyone! - A.
